We came with members of a pensioners' club to see the museum. We were dumbfounded at our history. The layout and technology are fantastic. The oldies found many familiar faces; they rediscovered their past, when they were still active. They arrived a little apprehensively, but left with a positive experience.
I lived through a part of the period. The accuracy of the exhibition is stunning. Every large town in Hungary should have such an EMLÉKPONT (Point of Remembrance). Urgently, while there are still memories and people who can remember. |
